Brief Description:
She's a nice girl. The type that, while she would love to tell you exactly what you can do with -insert object/offer here-, will smile and shake her head. She's selectively dependent, meaning that most of the time she doesn't like to have people offer their help, but the few times she wants help and no one offers it, she gets annoyed.
She's into sci-fi, fantasy, and pretty much anything that may or may not have anything to do with reality. Do not get her started on Star Trek. You have been warned.
She's also fairly strong for a girl, but often forgets this, especially when fighting against others. She also hates to hurt others, but will if necessary.

Brief History:
Nichole was born to Ann and Charles Steele. Her father was a business man and her mother a news reporter. Neither of them really knew how to raise a child, so they hired a nanny. It wasn't that they didn't care...but a child had not originally been in the plans.
To make up for their lack of...parenting, they let her do whatever she wanted. However, they were very supportive and even pushed her to strive to do her best as she got older. At least one, if not both of them would often times show up to her recitals and others to support her.
Nichole spent her time hopping from sport to sport because it got her attention from her parents that she craved. She never brought it up to them, but she always wished they were around more. They were often living at their other house to oversee the business or at a hotel or elsewhere.
It is part of the reason she tended to spend most of her time at her best friend's house--or having her over--so she wasn't alone. In fact, it was Hannah who drug her into crime fighting. She's always afraid, though, that the serum will wear off or cause Hannah to lose control. Still, she's glad that he can do something to help the community.
Then the government got stupid. Got scared. They began to round up anyone with powers. This included Hannah and Ty. She didn't know where they were taken...Not even her father's resources could get answers. She started to feel depressed. She fought against anyone she could face off against, if only to feel something besides sorrow and anger.
One day she was following someone. He broke into a chemistry lab, and she followed suit. They fought, spilling chemicals everywhere. He grabbed a beaker that had been filled with a few of the chemicals and threw it on her. It had the same color and a similar consistency to mucus. She ended up having to duck under the chemical shower while the guy got away. She stripped down and pulled it to wash herself off.
She ran as soon as she was sure it was off of her and went home. She passed out when she got home, sleeping for hours.
A few weeks later she had all but forgotten about the incident. She had been out at a party. There had been drinking and drugs, and she had done them both. Her mother had received a phone call from an acquaintance because she had all but passed out. Her mother brought her home. The next morning they got into a huge argument over what had happened. She ended up turning to storm off, releasing her anger. The side of the house suddenly blew out, and she felt weak. Her mother ran up and took her to their bomb shelter--something the government had suggested people have in case of an abnormal attack. They called the army. The police also came to investigate while the family went to a hotel. Her mother received the call that the house had been blown out from the inside. She asked her daughter...confessing that she had known for a while that the girl went out to fight crime. Nichole confessed everything in a fit of tears. Her mother told her to run--go as far away as she could. She took the money her mother gave her and fled.
She managed for a month to keep herself from the army. But eventually she was caught. She woke up in her house...in Anadac. She knew it, just by looking around her house. It looked too pristine. Too much like home to be home. Home was half-destroyed. Home had her family. Home was...home wasn't this.
